The Tryon Archival Research Center (ARC) is a Partnership in Preserving Tryon History established as an Archive to collect, maintain and make accessible the official records of The Town of Tryon and Tryon Township, North Carolina.
The Archive’s core collection consists of materials generated by organizations, institutions and individuals that are important to the permanent history of the Tryon area.
Tryon is a rich cultural literary community with fine arts, crafts, music, performing arts and a place in support creativity. Also most noteworthy is Tryon’s history of family-owned vineyards and equestrian activities.
